But still among the faster DTs. Enough explosiveness to get the the Quarterback, and that is all you need really. Makes good tackles. It is all about fit here. Take the money and run.

Intangibles, leadership, what's not to love? Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. He is driven by the love of the sport. Highlight reel tackles. Every week. This is part of what he brings to the table. Fans will love watching him. Would occasionally flatten offensive linemen in college. Even in the pros, opponents better not try to block him with a Tight End or Running Back. Is speedy enough to stay on the field in passing situations. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Execution in the running game is something coaches have noticed about him. He blocks pretty well. Something that scouts highight is how well he pass blocks. Pick 6: Philadelphia Eagles
Larry Moore: Carroll Gallagher - LB
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. Well liked in the locker room. You will see him make a lot of tackles. Has sufficient strength to play with the big boys in the pros. More than enough speed for the position. This will become evident as he develops. Some might say this is a 'need' pick, but we must remember, this is a really good player as well. He will contribute early and often. No losers here.

Jim Nox: Carroll Gallagher - LB
Known among his teammates as a hard worker. Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. He is a solid player. Cannot go wrong here.

Pick 7: Buffalo Bills
Larry Moore: Ralph Ingle - G
The guy has his head on straight. Well liked in the locker room. In college, he routinely threw defenders off their feet when blocking them. Watch the tape, this kind is strong. Driving up his value is his ability to block on run plays. Teams need kids who can hold their own against fully grown men. He can hold his own in the passing game. Will improve once he finetunes his technique, but he is already pretty good. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Jim Nox: Brady Dawkins - T

Larry Moore: Brady Dawkins - T
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. He is fundamentally a good kid. You rarely see him commit stupid penalties. With this guy on the team, they will have to buy extra weights. He is just that strong. Scouts love his understanding for opening running lanes in the running game. Something that scouts highight is how well he pass blocks. You do not pick him this high if he could not protect the QB. You need him, just get him already.

Jim Nox: Charles Locklear - WR
Not afraid to lead. This guy understands what it means to be a pro. 'Team player', this is the correct term for him. He makes everyone around him better. His balance when catching the ball is good. He plays faster than his forty might indicate. Has the balance and shiftiness to work well on short and intermediate routes from the slot. He fills a hole at the position. Blue-chip player. Will fit right in and start right away. Love it.

Pick 9: San Diego Chargers
Larry Moore: Ryan Gaskins - QB
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. He is fundamentally a good kid. You rarely see him commit stupid penalties. When the available talent fits what you need, there is reason to celebrate. They are getting a great talent who will serve them for many years.

Jim Nox: Glen Brewer - QB
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. The guy has gets along with everyone. He makes smart decisions with the ball. Trusts his own accuracy, and is rarely disappointed. His arm is good, but not great... yet! Pick 10: Kansas City Chiefs
Larry Moore: Dan Rose - LB
Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. He takes care of his teammates. Most everyone who ever played with him, counts him as their friend. This is a kid who will shoulder any blame. I do not think anyone would like to be tackled by this guy. Just from his college tape the pros should already be scared of him. Coaches like his strength. I do too. It will benefit him greatly on the field. Not exactly a speed rusher, but has plenty of speed for the position. Fans, coaches, and teammates alike will be ecstatic to get him on the team. He fits what they need, he is such a great talent. Everything lines up.

Jim Nox: Don Devine - CB

Los Angeles Stunned as Rams Go Up for Sale

Los Angeles is standing still today. After a decade of success under owner Barry — highlighted by the 2055 WWPF Championship — the man who built one of the league’s flagship franchises has decided to step away from the game.

In a stunning announcement, Barry declared that he’s retiring and putting the WWPF Los Angeles Rams up for sale. His decision, according to team sources, came without warning and has sent shockwaves through front offices and fan bases alike.

No word yet on where Barry plans to enjoy his retirement — or how he intends to spend his billions — but what’s certain is that one of the most valuable franchises in the WWPF is suddenly on the market.

League Commissioner Darren, known in league circles as “HeimdellAvatar,” confirmed the news and directed potential buyers to reach out through the official WWPF Discord channel for further information.

For Los Angeles fans, it’s the end of an era — and possibly, the beginning of another.

WWPF Chicago Bears Unpopular

The WWPF Chicago Bears are currently the talk of the league for all the wrong reasons: With a fanbase of just 47 and an approval rating of only 7, they rank among the least popular teams in the Weekend Warrior Pro Football League (WWPF) – and for good reason.
Their bandwagon score of just 5 puts them at the very bottom of the league.

Reasons for Unpopularity
The roots of the Bears’ lack of popularity run deep. Lawsuits pile up daily on owner Kottan’s desk, pointing to major structural and interpersonal problems within the franchise. A toxic climate among players and staff causes frustration that directly impacts fan satisfaction and stadium atmosphere.
Outdated training facilities only add to the misery: While other teams are constantly upgrading, the Bears remain stuck in the past. Poorly equipped training centers and a lack of innovation leave both players and fans dissatisfied.

Lack of Success and Chicago Weather
A major factor in the franchise’s weak reputation is the constant lack of on-field success. The Bears rarely impress, routinely missing the playoffs—a cycle that fuels discontent among their fan base. Then there’s the infamous Chicago weather: cold, rain, and wind make home games unappealing and sap enthusiasm all year long.

Scandals, Pay Issues, and Owner Criticism
Scandals surrounding the organization have a lasting impact on the Bears’ public image. Internal disputes and negative media headlines have become business as usual in Chicago, further eating away at the Bears’ reputation. Add in low pay from owner Kottan, and both players and employees lack the motivation to give it their all. Fans see this as a major problem, which directly affects team approval.

The Discontented Fanbase
The tiny fanbase and poor bandwagon score reflect the deep dissatisfaction among Bears fans—compared to other WWPF teams, Chicago falls far behind. Many supporters miss a sense of identity, passion, and community. The gap between franchise and fans keeps widening.

Conclusion
The Chicago Bears of the WWPF are a prime example of how a combination of lack of success, troubled management, outdated facilities, and tough outside circumstances can lead to lasting unpopularity. Unless major changes are made, there is little hope for the Bears to change their image.

Gering The Cowboys Are Reeling After Head Coach Royce Sweeney’s Stunning Departure to the Dolphins

Nueremberg, GER
Wednesday, Oct 23, 2058

What just happened under the star? The Cowboys woke up to a football earthquake this morning: head coach Royce Sweeney is gone — and not to retirement or a front office job. He’s headed to Miami.

Multiple team sources confirmed that Sweeney finalized a deal with the Dolphins late last night, leaving Cowboys ownership blindsided. The move comes with no public statement, no farewell press conference, and virtually no warning signs — a stunning twist for a franchise that believed it had its man for the long haul.

Sweeney, who led the Cowboys to consecutive playoff appearances and helped rebuild the team’s defensive identity, was reportedly courted aggressively by Miami owner Soadeathdealer over the past week. The Dolphins, who made the playoffs last year, have been searching for a motivator capable of unlocking their talented but inconsistent roster.

In Dallas, the tone is disbelief. “It came out of nowhere,” one player texted. “Nobody had a clue.” Inside The Star, assistants were left scrambling for answers as news broke across sports networks.

Now, owner Templer faces a major decision just weeks before the offseason program cranks up. The Cowboys will have to find not only a replacement, but also a new vision.

As for Sweeney, he leaves behind a proud but frustrated fan base — and steps straight into the Florida heat with sky-high expectations. One thing’s certain: no one saw this coming.

WWPF 2058 Season Preview: The Fire Is Back

The energy around the league is electric. The WWPF 2058 season kicks off with more storylines, rivalries, and front-office drama than ever. For the owners, it’s more than football — it’s legacy. Every contract, every draft pick, every Sunday call carries that unmistakable edge: the chase for immortality.

Last year, the Carolina Panthers claimed the ultimate prize, outlasting the New York Jets 34–31 in one of the most thrilling championship games in recent memory. Owner InvisibleWitness led a team that still has the Carolinas buzzing, and the team enters 2058 with a target on its back and confidence in its stride. “We learned how to finish,” InvisibleWitness said at training camp. “Now we’ve got to learn how to defend.”

WWPF commissioner Darren, the veteran architect behind the league’s meteoric rise, is also entering a defining year. His leadership through competitive expansion and international reach has turned the WWPF into a global showcase of simulation sports excellence. “What we see now is ownership passion at its peak — innovation, analytics, rivalries. The WWPF is stronger than ever,” Darren said in his season-opening.

Perhaps nothing reflects that global surge more than the breakthrough of two German-owned franchises in 2057 — a historic first. Simon Mayer’s Arizona Cardinals brought a disciplined, balanced football approach that embodied “German precision,” grinding their way into playoff contention with a 3-3 start that bloomed into momentum. Meanwhile, Simon Templer’s Dallas Cowboys rewrote expectations in the NFC, blending American flair with European tactical depth.
Fans across Germany stayed up late to watch both owners make postseason noise, and the response back home was explosive. “It wasn’t just about winning,” said Templer. “It was about showing that strategy travels.”

In addition to the Cardinals and Cowboys, two other German teams compete in the World Wide Professional Football League (WWPF): the Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears.

The Washington Commanders enter their season in 2058 without a Head Coach.
After a medicore previous season with 8–8 wins and and missing the WWPF playoffs, they want to start this season with a notable record. Missing new additions in the roster, they still count among the teams with playoff ambitions.

The WWPF Chicago Bears, traditionally one of the oldest and most storied teams in the league, have one championships in 2032 to their name, But Kottan's last playoff participation was in 2051.
In 2057, they rely on a rejuvenated offense and recently managed to win against the Cardinals in the last second, causing a stir in Germany.
Best Bears player for 2058: All-Star Bowl WR Christopher Stein – owner Kottan wants to build on him this season

Germany watches with anticipation whether owners Udo Bechtholt (Washington) and Kottan (Chicago) can build on the impressive successes of the Cardinals and Cowboys this season.

As the 2058 campaign dawns, excitement surges through ownership circles. Carolina looks to defend. Arizona and Dallas fight to prove they belong. New contenders are lurking.
Commissioner Darren’s words from the podium say it all: “The WWPF isn’t just a league anymore. It’s a movement.”

Buckle up — the new season is here, and all bets are off.

As always, we are prone to wild speculations, so we asked our in-house experts to do a little matchmaking between candidates and teams. Here is what they came up with:

Mary Moore:
David Clough leaves the Packers to become the head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Darren Francis:
I think the Giants lose Lawrence Napier and I see him heading to Philadelphia Eagles.

Jim Nox:
The Lions cannot hold on to Clifford Brown. I would like to see him coach the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jeremy Piper:
Lawrence Napier is certainly on the move. That means Giants will need a new coordinator. As for where Napier ends up? Well, I think Indianapolis Colts is a good bet.
